Infinity flying high – Midhurst enjoy four-point weekend
Infinity have started where they left off last season – and sit in second place in the early SCFL Division 1 table.
The Sidlesham-based outfit did slip to their first league defeat on Saturday, going down 3-1 at Jarvis Brook, Tom Tierney the scorer.
But they bounced back 48 hours later with a bank holiday Monday 3-0 win at home to Arundel. Ashton Leigh, Evan Harris and Lewis Beale were on target.
Selsey, in the same division, crashed to a 5-0 defeat at home to Reigate Priory on Saturday and lost 3-0 at Clanfield on Monday.

They have yet to find their form and are 14th in the table thanks to a couple of wins that preceded these defeats.
Infinity visit Guildford on Saturday, when Selsey host AFC Walcountians.
In the SCFL Premier, Midhurst continued their fine start to the season with a 2-2 draw in Guernsey on Saturday and a 3-2 win at home to Lancing on Monday.
Brett Pitman scored in both and Lewis Olajide got two against the Lancers.

Midhurst host Bexhill on Saturday.
In Division 2, Bosham lost 1-0 at home to Upper Beeding on Saturday and 4-1 – also at Walton Lane – to Chichester City B on Monday. The Robins are at home again on Saturday; welcoming Alfold to town.
