New chairman sought by Horsham YM

Horsham YM FC are looking for a chairman to help lead the club through an ambitious new chapter.

With plans for a new 3G pitch, a growing focus on commercial and community activity and an aim to achieve promotion within the next three seasons, this is an opportunity to help shape the club’s future both on and off the field.

The club said: “We are seeking an experienced, inclusive leader who can bring people together in a shared direction. The chairman will work with the executive committee, board of trustees, team managers and the club’s associated Community Interest Company (CIC) to strengthen governance, support football development, and ensure clear financial oversight.”

The role will involve: Building a positive, respectful committee culture with clear responsibilities and constructive decision-making; supporting the first team manager and coaching staff with clear goals, practical backing and recognition for their time and effort; helping align the first team, youth and grassroots football, and the club’s wider community ambitions; ensuring transparent financial reporting and appropriate oversight of the relationship between the club and the CIC; keeping the club focused on long-term sustainability as it pursues its football ambitions.

"This is a volunteer executive leadership role for someone who wants to make a lasting difference to Horsham YM FC and its community.

"To express your interest, please email [email protected] with a brief introduction, a little about your background and why you would like to help shape the future of Horsham YM FC.”
