New race added to Bognor Prom 10k day

Under the banner of the Bognor Prom Running Festival, next year’s edition will include the iconic 10K race, the fun run for children aged 4-14, and the Bognor Prom 3000 – a brand new chip-timed 3K race for 12-15 year olds.

Organised by Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners and the Rotary Club of Bognor Hotham, the event is a true celebration of community; bringing runners, spectators and volunteers together from across the south coast to raise thousands of pounds for local charities.

For 2027 the Bognor Prom Running Festival is delighted to be partnering with My Sisters’ House, which has supported women across West Sussex for over 12 years.

With offices in Bognor Regis and Chichester, My Sisters' House provides practical, emotional and therapeutic services to empower women, promote equality, and address challenges such as domestic abuse, poverty, mental health, and employment barriers.

Avril Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of My Sisters' House Women's Centre, says: “We are incredibly honoured to be chosen as charity partner. Every day, My Sisters' House supports women whose lives have been shaped by abuse, trauma and inequality, helping them find safety, hope and a path towards independence.

"This partnership gives us an invaluable opportunity to reach new audiences, raise awareness that domestic abuse affects every community, raise vital funds, and inspire more people to become part of the solution.

"We firmly believe that ending violence against women and girls is everyone's responsibility. Together, we can help create a future where abuse is never tolerated and every woman and girl can live free from fear.”
