Worthing beaten by Boreham Wood - Lewes edge win over Eastbourne Borough
Danny Cashman came back to haunt Worthing as Boreham Wood inflicted the Rebels’ second defeat of the bank holiday weekend.
Cashman – who had a spell at Woodside Road when they were battling to get out of National League South – scored twice in the final 10 minutes to give Boreham Wood a 3-1 lead.
That came after Matt Rush had cancelled out Razz Colenan De Graft’s goal, which had given Adam Hinshelwood’s team a 1-0 half-time lead.
Coleman De Graft scored a second from the penalty spot just as the 90 minutes were up but the Rebels couldn’t find an equaliser in time added on.

It means they have six points after five games – having lost at Tamworth on Friday night – and sit 14th in the table ahead of their next test, away to AFC Fylde on Saturday.
In the Isthmian Premier, there was a third straight defeat for Eastbourne – and a fourth straight win for Lewes – at the Dripping Pan as Noel Fisher’s 51st minute goal proved the only one of the East Sussex derby.

It was also derby day at Whitehawk, where George Vorster’s goal nine minutes into stoppage time clinched a 1-1 draw for Burgess Hill Town, who had trailed since Rhys Murphy’s 13th minute opener for the Hawks.
In the same division, Three Bridges are celebrating their first win after goals by Kevin Rivera, Noel Leighton and Charlie Bennett earned a 3-2 success at home to Carshalton – that 48 hours after Jamie Crellin’s team picked up their first point, at Dulwich Hamlet.
In the Southern League Premier South, Chichester City won their second game of the weekend with a thrilling 3-2 win over Havant and Waterlooville. It was 1-0 with 20 minutes to go but ended 3-2.
Isaac Bello, Jake Lawrence and Lucas Pattenden were the goalscorers as City went sixth.
In the Isthmian South East, Hastings United trailed 3-0 at home to Crowborough after 13 minutes – but recovered superbly to win 4-3.
Max Walsh, Sam Pidgeon, Tom Chalmers and Ayo Olasimbo scored for Hastings after an own goal, Lloyd Francis and Harry Forster had put the Crows on top.
That means Ronnie Dolan’s Us are two points clear at the top.
Broadbridge Heath won 3-0 at home to Peacehaven thanks to Zach Young, Charlie Connell and Mason Doughty’s second half strikes.
Steyning claimed their first win of the Isthmian SE season with an early Jared Rance goal that was enough to win at Eastbourne Town.
In the Isthmian SC division, Bognor Regis Town are second after a Luke Pardoe double secured a 2-1 win at home to Moneyfields.
