Bewbush community event invites residents to help shape the future

Bewbush residents are invited to an afternoon of music, activities and family fun at The Bewbush Academy on Saturday 19 September, from 12–3pm.

The free community event will feature live music, stalls, inflatables, activities and plenty for families to enjoy, with local groups and organisations coming together from across Bewbush.

The Bewbush Neighbourhood Board will also be there as part of its work with local groups and residents to shape the future of the neighbourhood through the Pride in Place programme.

Alongside enjoying the event, residents can find out more about the programme and share their ideas about what they love about Bewbush, what could be better and where they would like to see investment in the future.

Toby Shaw, Chair of the Bewbush Neighbourhood Board, said: “This should be a really enjoyable afternoon and a chance to celebrate everything that is good about the Bewbush community.

“Come along, enjoy the music and activities, meet some of the fantastic local groups working in the area – and while you’re there, tell us what you would like to see for the future of Bewbush.

“We want local people to be at the heart of deciding what happens next.”

The Board will continue working with residents and community groups over the coming months to develop a long-term vision and priorities for Bewbush.
