Christian Voices, the Musical Drama Group, have raised a record sum of £1,200 for Warming Up The Homeless from the four performances of their play, Test Of Faith.

It was performed in Christchurch Methodist Church Hall, St Peter’s Community Centre, Catsfield Village Hall and Little Common Methodist Church.
The play was written by Alan Young, the songs composed by Dave Chamberlin and it was directed by Maria Wheeler.
Trudy Hampton-Hodges, the CEO of Warming up the Homeless. said: “We are very grateful to Christian Voices and their very generous donation. We support in excess of 1,500 homeless men, women and children a week with food, housing, furniture, bank accounts, mental health and back to work help, to name but a few.
The donation will enable us to continue to do this work. In a world where statutory services are limited in their help to the most disadvantaged community in our society, charities have become the backbone of all things vital. Warming up the Homeless is no exception”
Alan said, “The generosity of the people who came to see our play has been incredible. We are very grateful to them and to the Churches for their tremendous support”.
