Horsham W1s 0-1 Brighton & Hove W1s
Brighton & Hove W1s won a challenging game away at Horsham W1s. In the first half Brighton had spells of possession and made opportunities that kept the Horsham keeper occupied. Horsham put the visiting defence under pressure but the defenders remained calm and made it hard for Horsham, and so it remained 0-0 at half time.
In the second half it was Molly Beard who was able to put the ball past the keeper with a precise deflection from a Brighton penalty corner. The tempo of the game went up and down, with tackles, challenges and even some bookings, but the visitors managed to see out a victory with a clean sheet.
