Chichester care home's Gents Club goes on visit to see Spitfires

The Gentlemens Club enjoyed an incredible trip out to Goodwood Aerodrome .The gents not only enjoyed watching the aeroplanes take off and land and the cars zoom round the track, but we met 'Will' from the Spitfire Academy.

Will kindly agreed to met our residents and sat chatting about his flying adventures as a pilot and the residents reminisced about funny war time memories with him.

Will then kindly invited us back next week to watch the Spitfires flying as it will soon be the end of the season, the residents can't wait they had such a good time.

The Gentlemens Club then had a great return visit to Goodwood Aerodrome today. After meeting Will last week we returned to watch him and the Spitfires flying past in these amazing historical planes. The Spitfires were just incredible to watch as they flew overhead as we sat and enjoyed our cappuccino and chocolate .

Thank you to everyone at the Spitfire Academy and Aerodrome for making our trip so wonderful.
