Hastings Bar Billiards Marathon 2026

On Monday 26th October, the Hastings Bar Billiards League will come together to undertake a Marathon Event between opening time 12 pm and closing time 11pm, at the Jenny Lind in the Old Town.
This is the 3rd year we have held this event, and this year we are especially remembering the Jenny A team captain’s wife Tracy Norton, who sadly passed away of Salivary Gland cancer in February at the Hospice.
Playing multiple Games of Bar Billiards, we will aim to beat an ambitious target of 150,00 points, and in doing so will raise money for the 2 charities. We will also hold a raffle with a Hotel stay and £75 Amazon voucher amongst the many prizes. In the last 2 years we have raised just over £1000, and nearly £1400, and hope to smash that total this year.
The 6 teams in the Hastings Bar Billiards league are supporting the event with their time and contributions, as are the Jenny Lind, and players from across the whole county will be welcomed to contribute, both in monetary and playing terms.
This is a fun event to highlight the growing issue of Cancer in the local community, and to support both the MacMillan team and St Michael’s hospice who provide such an invaluable service.
We welcome anyone to come along and take part on this event and see what their contribution can give to help with the care needs of those with cancer.
