Starting this week with a positive update from the Bognor Regis Town Centre Action Group (BRTCAG), who, working alongside Bognor Regis Town Council, are pleased to announce that new ‘No Cycling’ signs are due to be installed along the pedestrianised section of London Road.

Funded by the BRTCAG, the initiative forms part of the group's ongoing commitment to creating a safer and more welcoming Town Centre for residents, businesses and visitors.
The new signage follows concerns raised about cyclists travelling through the busy pedestrianised area, potentially putting pedestrians at risk, particularly those with mobility difficulties or visual impairments.
The signs will provide a clear and visible reminder of the existing restrictions, encouraging cyclists to dismount when passing through the area. Importantly, the improved signage will also assist Sussex Police in enforcing the existing restrictions more effectively, helping to address concerns about pedestrian safety.
The project is a positive example of partnership working through the BRTCAG, bringing together the Town Council and local stakeholders to deliver practical improvements for the Town Centre.
