Do you possess a voice that can successfully compete with a gale-force coastal wind?
Are you looking for a completely valid, socially acceptable excuse to shout in public while wearing a magnificent hat?
If so, Peacehaven Town Council has the perfect volunteer gig for you!
We are officially hunting for our next Town Crier—an enthusiastic, community-minded local hero ready to bring a touch of theatrical flair to our cliffs and streets.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a voice that can echo all the way to the next town
Enjoys ringing a bell
Wants to become the most recognisable, much-loved voice in Peacehaven
Looks fantastic in historical garb (or is willing to learn!)
No previous shouting experience required, just a massive heart for our community and a lot of spirit!
