The Vipers and Roffey E maintained their good starts as another thrilling week of action unfolded in the Horsham and District Snooker League.
Division One: The Vipers Flighted, Roffey Dominate
The Vipers narrowly defended their position at the top of the table after a tense 3-2 away victory against Horsham Club Colours. Bill Whitney's impressive 27-break for Colours on the night wasn't quite enough to halt the leaders' run.
Hot on their heels are Horsham Club D and Roffey Rangers, both locked on 11 points. Rangers made a massive statement with a dominant 4-1 home victory over Club D, dealing a direct blow to their fellow title contenders. Elsewhere, Horsham Club Casuals secured a vital 3-2 victory over Barns Green A, while Roffey D dismantled Oakwood Hill C in a flawless 5-0 away whitewash. Roffey D's Peter Coxon stole the headlines for individual performances, firing in the week’s highest break of 29.
Division Two: Roffey E Perfect, Raiders Keep Chase
In the second tier, Roffey E kept their flawless record perfectly intact, overcoming a fierce challenge from club rivals Roffey F to secure a 3-2 away victory. The result leaves Roffey E standing clear at the top with 14 points from four matches.
Horsham Club Raiders sit in second place after a tough 3-2 loss to Warnham E. Meanwhile, Loxwood Out of Nowhere capitalised on the slip-ups around them, moving up the standings by edgeing out Horsham Club E 3-2. In other close encounters across the division, Horsham Club Rockets overcame Warnham B 3-2, while Oakwood Hill D clawed their way to a narrow 3-2 victory over Roffey C.
