Week 5 Report
Leaders The Star visited The Coot B and, after a tough singles battle ending at three-all, swept all three doubles to secure a 6-3 win. The teams who started the evening in second and third place faced off as The Norfolk travelled to Billingshurst to take on Kings Head Badgers. Boosted by a 180 from Nathan Worsell, the visitors claimed a 7-2 victory, closing the gap at the top to just one point, while the Badgers dropped to fourth. Horsham Sports Club hosted The Coot A, racing to a 5-1 lead before losing all three doubles but still edging out a 5-4 win, enough to move up to third. Bottom side Roffey Social Club had a bye and now sit twelve points adrift.
