House of Hades will see internationally renowned performance collective The Fuel Girls bring fire, aerial performance, dance and theatrical entertainment to West Sussex in one of the biggest live productions in the event’s history.

The Fuel Girls have performed around the world, including appearances at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, and will take over a dedicated venue at Tulleys Farm for the new show.

House of Hades has been created specifically for Shocktober Fest’s anniversary and will be performed throughout the night when the event returns this October.

It comes 30 years after Shocktober Fest began at the Sussex farm with a single haunted house in 1996. The event has since grown into what is billed as Europe’s largest scream park, attracting more than two million visitors over the past three decades.

Stuart Beare, owner of Tulleys Farm and founder of Shocktober Fest, said: “Thirty years ago we opened one haunted house. This October, we are bringing performers who have appeared at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights to West Sussex and creating one of the biggest live productions we have ever staged.

“House of Hades is huge. We wanted fire, aerial performance, dance, music and theatrical storytelling to collide in a way we simply haven't attempted before.

“Our 30th anniversary isn't just about looking back at what we have achieved over the last three decades. It is about showing people that we are still pushing ourselves, still taking risks and still finding new ways to surprise them.”

House of Hades is the latest addition announced for the anniversary season. The Cellar Returns has already been revealed, alongside Ross Records, a new Doom Town scene created with writer, podcaster and Celebrity Gogglebox star Honey Ross. The haunted Greggs shop will also return for a second year.

Shocktober Fest will run for 26 selected nights from October 2 to November 1 at Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill Road, near Crawley.

Tickets start from £42.95, with more information at ShocktoberFest.co.uk.
