What a lovely display to enjoy at the Horticultural Society's Autumn Show - fewer exhibits than usual, but that was to be expected considering the weather conditions we have had to adjust to over the summer. And the standards were as high as ever. Congratulations to all – especially the committee who run it so well.

He is fresh from the Edinburgh Festival, so we may be treated to snippets from his presentation on Beethoven – or not, let’s see!
