Tulleys Christmas Light Festival, held at Tulleys Farm near Turners Hill, will return on November 27, transforming the Sussex countryside into a festive landscape filled with millions of Christmas lights, illuminated woodland trails and live entertainment.

The annual event has become a popular Christmas destination for families across Sussex and beyond, attracting visitors from across the country and welcoming famous faces including Davina McCall, Rag'n'Bone Man and Olympic skating legend Jayne Torvill.

For 2026, organisers have confirmed three major additions, including the largest expansion in the festival's history.

The biggest change will be the introduction of The Alpine Valley, an entirely new area featuring winding pathways, wooden bridges, flowing streams and peaceful ponds surrounded by Christmas illuminations.

Inspired by alpine landscapes, the new attraction will offer visitors another part of the festival to explore, with illuminated reflections across the water and new viewpoints throughout the valley.

Also joining the event is The Fallen Star, a new woodland installation featuring a giant illuminated star resting within a pool of shimmering reflections.

A Vintage Carousel will complete the three new additions, bringing a traditional fairground favourite to the Christmas celebrations.

The new attractions will join a number of returning favourites, including the Spirit of Christmas Show, a lakeside display combining music, lights and water effects.

Visitors will also be able to experience Let It Snow, where artificial snowfall transforms part of the woodland into a winter setting, alongside the Enchanted Forest, Love Lane, Merry Magic and the Fire and Ice Show.

Unlike many traditional Christmas light trails, the Tulleys event does not follow a fixed route, allowing visitors to explore the different areas at their own pace.

The festival also features a 500-speaker sound system, with music and sound effects accompanying the illuminated displays throughout the site.

Away from the lights, visitors will find two live music stages, a Christmas Market and a selection of festive food and drink stalls serving everything from Christmas dinner wraps and wood-fired pizza to fresh doughnuts and mulled wine.

The Alpine Village will return with heated cabins, fire pits and marshmallow toasting, while the Après Club will offer a separate hospitality experience featuring three heated tipis, cocktails and a live DJ.

The site's 33-metre Observation Wheel will also return, giving visitors views across the illuminated woodland and surrounding Sussex countryside.

Tulleys Farm has been operated by the Beare family since 1937 and has become well known locally for its seasonal events, including Shocktober Fest and its popular pumpkin and tulip festivals.

The business was highly commended in the Best Family Business category at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards in 2025.

Tulleys Christmas Light Festival will run on selected dates from November 27 until December 30, 2026.

Opening times vary depending on the date, with the festival opening at 4pm and closing at either 10pm or 11pm.

Tickets start from £22.95 for adults and £17.95 for children aged two to 13, while children under two can attend free of charge. Free parking is included.

The event takes place at Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill Road, near Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 4PD.
