With all the sass and energy of the 2006 original, this second film set 20 years on is a sleek diversion with brittle and sharp laughs, truckloads of couture threads and lashings of light drama. Meryl Streep proves she’s the best in the business with her performance, delivering more in a single quiet line delivery than most actors can achieve in a whole film.
Cert 12A, duration 119 mins.
Tuesday 24th November, 7.30 pm. £8. Tickets available on-line via https://ropetacklecentre.co.uk/whats-on/ or from Ropetackle Box Office, Little High Street, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5EG.
