Seaford College is thrilled to announce it's in the The Schools Championship (TSC XV).
Christian Head, Director of Sport said: “We’re the only school in Sussex to be part of the TSC XV. The reason we’ve been asked is the standard of rugby we’re playing now and the breadth of the programme. We’ve got four senior teams out every year and A, B & C teams across the programme. Girls’ rugby is on the horizon so it's in recognition of how the rugby programme is going alongside the other sports.
“It will give us a fantastic opportunity to compete alongside top performing schools in the country. It’s a massive achievement for students and recognition of their efforts and as a school, we’re really proud. Ad Alta for the season ahead!"
It's been a very successful year with the Seaford boys crowned Cup champions at the Seaford Southern 10s Rugby Tournament, lifting the trophy for the first time in the event’s history and beating 15 other independent schools from across the country. They then went onto win the U18 Sussex Open 7s.
