Search is on for Sussex’s top heating & HVAC installers, plumbers and apprentices

The search is on for Sussex’s best heating installers, HVAC professionals, plumbers and apprentices, with entries now open for the Heating Installer Awards and The Plumber Awards 2027.

Earlier this year, Steve Gray of Steve Gray Gas Services in Hove was named the South East’s Plumber of the Year, while Adam Dare of Eco Renewables in Berkshire was crowned the South East’s Heating Installer of the Year.

Steve later took National Bronze in The Plumber Awards, while Adam received Highly Commended recognition from the Heating Installer Awards judges.

Both awards are free to enter, with tradespeople across Sussex and the wider South East encouraged to put themselves forward before entries close on 22 December 2026.

Now in its 12th year, the Heating Installer Awards recognises outstanding heating professionals across the UK, with regional winners progressing towards the national title of Heating Installer of the Year. The awards also include HVAC Installer of the Year, recognising professionals delivering heating, cooling, ventilation and air quality projects.

The Plumber Awards, now in its second year, celebrates outstanding plumbers from across the UK, while a joint Apprentice of the Year category recognises the next generation entering the plumbing and heating industry.

Laura Mashiter, founder of the Heating Installer Awards and The Plumber Awards, said: "Every year we discover incredible talent in every corner of the UK, and the South East is no exception. We know there are outstanding heating installers, HVAC professionals, plumbers and apprentices across Sussex and the wider South East delivering brilliant work for their customers every day.

"The awards are an opportunity to recognise those individuals, celebrate their achievements and showcase the professionalism, technical expertise and dedication that exists throughout the industry. We'd encourage anyone who is proud of their work to put themselves forward."

Previous winners and finalists have benefited from increased local recognition, strengthened professional reputations, new industry relationships and wider exposure through the awards.
