A Selsey care home is inviting the local community to come together for an afternoon of tea, cake, music and conversation in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Tenchley Manor, in Ursula Square, will host its Macmillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday, September 25, as part of its regular Reach Out Café.
Running from 2.30pm to 4pm, the event will feature live music from a steel pan duo, alongside homemade cake, hot drinks and the chance for local people to meet residents and members of the care home team.

The afternoon will also provide an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support, while remembering the many people and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.
The Reach Out Café is held on the last Friday of every month at Tenchley Manor and is open to everyone in the local community.
The café provides a regular opportunity for residents, relatives and local people to spend time together, enjoy refreshments and have a chat in a relaxed setting.
Tenchley Manor is a 37-bedroom care home in Selsey providing residential, nursing, respite, palliative and dementia care. The home is situated close to the seafront and encourages residents to remain connected with the surrounding community.
Anyone wishing to attend the Reach Out Café can let the Tenchley Manor team know by calling 01243 606060.
Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake, listen to the music and support Macmillan Cancer Support.
