General Manager Esther said: “We love going to these local dementia cafes, they provide amazing sessions that can brighten any one’s day. Music in particular reduces anxiety, eases agitation and sparks old memories. Familiar songs from a person’s youth, ages 18 to 25 are very meaningful. We hope to offer this outing every Tuesday for our dementia residents. If you would like to see what we get up to in and out of Hurstwood View then please visit our Facebook site, Hurstwood View Care Home.”
