Successful stand-up club announces plans to expand

At the last showing of Danny’s Comedy Club at the Birch Hotel in Haywards Heath, the audience were queuing out the door to get in.

Half an hour before curtain up the venue was full and by the time the first act took to the stage, there was literally standing room only.

Owner and producer Daniel Kington said: “I knew that we’d truly arrived when the first people attempted to gain entry without paying but to see the wonderful staff at the Birch Hotel grabbing every spare chair in the place until they ran out, was humbling.”

“The support we have had from people in mid-Sussex has encouraged us to bring our successful line-ups to other places as well, something we never dared to hope for when we started. Watch this space.”

A host of experienced comedic talent has been booked for the next show on Friday, September 27, at the Birch Hotel in Haywards Heath.
