Eastbourne Silver Band celebrates 75th anniversary

The 75th Anniversary of the Eastbourne Silver Band has come to an end and what a successful year it has been
Being a community band its members agreed that, to celebrate the band's 75th milestone in the town, It would like to give support to some of the local organisations.
To this end, during March, the band members donated Easter eggs to Children With Cancer, and chocolate selection boxes during November and December, both of which were gleefully received by the children under the charity's care.
Financially the band was able to offer support to several of the local organisations. These included St. Wilfrid's Hospice, Children With Cancer, Meads Hall, Brass Band Aid for Ukraine, St. John Ambulance Eastbourne Division, RNLI, and local Forces Veterans support group.

All this, though, was only made possible through the support and generosity of all who came along and helped us to make our diamond jubilee the great year that it has proved to be so, from all the members of the Eastbourne Silver Band, we give a sincere thank you to all of you for how much you have supported the band.
