Ferring Lodge supports Findon Swimming Club with £1,000 donation

Ferring Contemporary Lodge has proudly presented a £1,000 donation to Findon Swimming Club to help support the ongoing running costs of the school swimming pool in Findon, ensuring this important local facility can continue to benefit children and families in the village.
The cheque was presented by Worshipful Master Dafydd Hughes during his year in office. The presentation was attended by members of the Findon Swimming Club committee, Assistant Provincial Grand Master Guy Purser, and several members of Ferring Contemporary Lodge, highlighting the strong partnership between the Lodge and the local community.
The funds were raised through a series of successful fundraising initiatives organised by the Lodge, including raffles and a popular summer barbecue. These events not only raised much-needed funds but also brought together members, families, and friends in support of a valuable local cause.
Findon Swimming Club plays a vital role in providing swimming lessons and recreational opportunities for local schoolchildren, helping them develop essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment. Rising operational costs mean that donations such as this are crucial to keeping the pool accessible for future generations.
Speaking at the presentation, representatives of Findon Swimming Club expressed their sincere thanks to Ferring Contemporary Lodge for its generosity and continued commitment to supporting community projects across the area.
