New sports equipment welcomed at Southwick school
Balls, bean bags and skipping ropes are among a batch of new sports equipment donated to a Southwick school.
Pupils at Glebe Primary School, in Church Street, were delighted with the donation from Shoreham and Southwick Rotary Club.
Sarah McCorry, chair of Glebe PTA, said: “The equipment will be used by children of all ages, from nursery to year six, and we were delighted to receive a donation from our local Rotary Club to make this possible.”
The school believes PE and sport play a significant role in helping to develop healthy, active children, with the potential to change young people’s lives for the better.
