Sussex Police say the collision happened just before 8.30am in Ashdown Drive.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm a collision involving a car and a child occurred in Ashdown Drive, Crawley, about 8.27am today.“The child sustained minor injuries.”South East Coast Ambulance Service say the child was taken to East Surrey Hospital.
