Police said a motorbike stolen from Hastings seafront was found parked in St Leonards.

A Hastings Police spokesperson said in a post today (Monday, December 8): "A few days ago, a motorbike was stolen from Hastings seafront. The owner reported it to police and shared an appeal on the Hastings Stolen Motorcycles (HSM) Facebook page."

They added: "Thanks to a sharp-eyed member of the public, who had seen the post on Facebook, the partially covered bike was spotted parked in St Leonards. They immediately alerted both us and the HSM Facebook page.

"The owner was delighted to recover their bike, all thanks to quick reporting and community vigilance. If you see something suspicious, let us know. Your information makes a difference!"
