Police conduct evening patrols in Rye following reports of anti-social behaviour

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Following reports of anti-social behaviour, officers and PCSOs have continued with reassurance patrols in Rye and the surrounding areas, with particular attention given to Love Lane.

“Neighbourhood policing relies on information from the community. When issues are reported to us, we can assess the concerns, increase patrols where appropriate and, where necessary, work with partners or deploy additional resources to address ongoing problems.

“Please continue to report anti-social behaviour to us. The information you provide helps us build a clearer picture of what is happening and enables us to take action against those responsible for causing disruption in our communities.

“You can report incidents online here https://orlo.uk/cxlL0 or by calling 101. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, always call 999.”
