Delight at car tour fundraising success
The final figure from their 2012 Regis Classic Tour came to £46,716.76 when gift aid was included.

Hide Ad“The money has been split between Against Breast Cancer and Orchid –Fighting Male Cancers.
“Both charities are thrilled with the money and it will be put to immediate use in the fight in beating these dreadful diseases.”
The exceptional amount took the total raised from the 15 tours to more than £365,000.
This year’s classic visited the Peak District in the spring.

Hide AdSo popular has the tour become since it was revived by the club’s female members that the next one – on March 22-24 to the Cotswolds – has 55 places reserved. Only nine are left to be filled with eight months still to go.
It will be supported by car dealer William Frost for the sixth year in a row to ensure as much money as possible goes to help the chosen charities.
Those cars booked to take part evoke memories of motoring’s golden age. They include Alvis, Jaguar MG, Sunbeam and Alfa Romeo. More details from www.theregisclassictour.co.uk
