There are so many breeds to choose from when considering welcoming a new furry friend into your home, so why not opt for a rescue dog?
Each of these dogs at Arundawn Dog Rescue are looking for a home – including a litter of adorable puppies, a Saluki and some Spaniels.
If you are interested in adopting one of them, visit the rescue’s website and complete a pre-application form.

17. Xena - Five years old
Xena is looking for a home that is rural or with a large garden. She must live away from other dogs as she is reactive when out walking and to those that pass the house. She also cannot live with cats, small animals or young children. She is very strong on the lead and as she is reactive she will need an understanding and confident human. Xena would be a great companion as an only dog as she is very loyal to her human. Photo: Arundawn

18. Jack - 15 months old
Jack is a young and energetic lurcher who is looking for an active home and ideally a playful canine companion. He cannot live with cats or children under 12 years old. Photo: Arundawn

19. Taffi - 21 months old
Taffi would thrive in a home where he gets lots of cuddles, a comfy bed and sofa to snuggle on. His three favourite things are sleeping, eating and going for walks. He cannot live with cats or small animals, but can live with calm sensible children over 8 years old. Photo: Arundawn

20. Remi - four years old
Remi is a four year old Staffie cross Collie. He is very friendly with other dogs and currently lives and plays with all the shelter pack and newcomers at Arundawn. He is a delightful, affectionate and friendly dog who loves adults, children and dogs alike. Remi ideally needs a home where humans are around the majority of the time, one or more resident canine friend, and a rural location. Photo: Arundawn
