Eastbourne charity 'delighted' by grant from local council
St Wilfrid’s Hospice received a visit and a donation from a local councillor.
Seaford Town Council gave a £1,000 grant to ST Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne on October, 26. The grant was presented by Seaford’s Deputy Mayor, Councillor Rod Buchanan.

A charity spokesperson said: “We were recently delighted to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Seaford, Councillor Rod Buchanan, to St Wilfrid’s Hospice for his first visit. It was a pleasure to show him around, introduce him to the wide range of care and support we provide, and share how we support people across our community.
"We were also grateful for the opportunity to thank Seaford Town Council for their generous grant of £1,000. Their support helps us continue to provide compassionate care and support for local people and their families when they need it most.”
