Newly-formed AFC Langney Youth Football Club visited Eastbourne District General Hospital on Good Friday to donate 100 Easter Eggs, notepads and pens to the children’s ward and its staff. Players, parents and officials from the under-13 squad for the 2022/23 season visited the hospital to present their donation outside the ward. Club spokesperson Lee Hall said: "Young football players, as in all walks of life, from time to time will get injuries. It is only with the wonderful work of our NHS that we are able to receive amazing treatment and ongoing care that enables us to recover and return to the playing field. We would therefore like to say a massive thank you to the doctors, nurses and care staff of the DGH for their work."
