Hastings to Bexhill bypass to close in the evenings for bridge inspections
East Sussex Highways says the A2690 Combe Valley Way will be closed to traffic between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday, November 18, and Thursday, November 19, finishing at 6am on Friday, November 20.
The works involve safety inspections of bridges and repairs to damaged safety barriers.

An East Sussex Highways spokesperson said: “We’ll be working between Haven Brook Avenue roundabout and Queensway. The road will be closed to through traffic, with a signed diversion route in place via the A2690, A21, A2102, A259, and vice versa.
“For safety, access to properties within the works area will be limited and managed during our working hours. If you need access, please speak to the team on site, as arrangements and routes may change as work progresses.
“Please bear in mind, there could also be a delay while the area is made safe for you to pass and your vehicle may be escorted by site marshalls.”
