Former Oldham Athletic and Newcastle United defender no longer joining Crawley Town
Jordan Tait will no longer be joining Crawley Town as Kevin Blackwell’s interim assistant head coach, the club has said.
The club announced Blackwell’s appointment as interim head coach following Colin Kazim-Richards’ departure last week and Tait would serve as Assistant Coach during this period.

But just a day before their trip to Oldham Athletic, the club posted on X: “Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, Jordan Tait will no longer be joining the club. Everyone at Crawley Town sends their love and best wishes to Jordan and the rest of his family.”
There has been no further update on the permanent manager search from the club.
Reds face Oldham tomorrow before a trip to Wimborne Town in the FA Cup on Sunday, November 8.
