Rustington choir welcomes new members following successful Christmas concert

Rustington choir The Friendship Singers has raised £384.87 for Worthing-based St Barnabas House hospice with a Christmas concert.

The successful concert was held in Rustington Methodist Church in December. Admission was free but a retiring collection was made in aid of the hospice.

Community fundraiser Mary Bye gave a brief presentation on the work undertaken by Southern Hospice Group at St Barnabas House and in the wider community around Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield.

In addition to the choir's programme, the audience was able to join in with carols to get them into the festive spirit. Pianist Ann Waters entertained on the piano with carols played in jazz style.
