‘This one means so much’ - Tulleys Shocktober Fest wins new UK award
Tulleys Shocktober Fest has received yet another award, as the attraction celebrates 30 years of Halloween scares.
The world-famous tourist attraction has been recognised as the inaugural scream park of the year at the 2026 UK Theme Park Awards.
The Turners Hill theme park shared the news on social media.
A Facebook post read: “30 years of screams. And now, something very special to celebrate.

“We’re incredibly proud to share that Tulleys Shocktober Fest has been named the inaugural scream park of the year at the 2026 UK Theme Park Awards!
“This one means so much, especially in our 30th year.
“For three decades, our incredible team has created the scares, the stories and the madness. But it’s our guests who have made Shocktober Fest what it is.
“Every scream, every laugh, every brave face and every Halloween memory shared with us has been part of the journey.

“So this award is for all of you.
“Thank you for 30 years of screams. We couldn’t have done it without you.”
A new live show is coming to Shocktober Fest this Halloween.
House of Hades will see internationally renowned performance collective The Fuel Girls bring fire, aerial performance, dance and theatrical entertainment to West Sussex in one of the biggest live productions in the event’s history.
The Fuel Girls have performed around the world, including appearances at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, and will take over a dedicated venue at Tulleys Farm for the new show.
House of Hades has been created specifically for Shocktober Fest’s anniversary and will be performed throughout the night when the event returns this October.
It comes 30 years after Shocktober Fest began at the Sussex farm with a single haunted house in 1996. The event has since grown into what is billed as Europe’s largest scream park, attracting more than two million visitors over the past three decades.
Shocktober Fest will run for 26 selected nights from October 2 to November 1 at Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill Road, near Crawley.
Tickets start from £42.95, with more information at www.shocktoberfest.co.uk/.
