Forget the usual Christmas market trinkets. Brighton is getting a taste of Italy this December, with a new festive market bringing Italian food, regional specialities, live music and family entertainment to the heart of the city.

How many Christmas markets can you visit before you've had enough of the same old decorations, overpriced trinkets and things you probably don't really need?

This December, the Brighton Italian Festival (BIF) is offering something a little different.
On Sunday 6 December, Jubilee Square will host the first-ever Natale a Brighton – Italian Christmas Market, a celebration of Italian food, culture and Christmas traditions, with free entry for everyone.
And if there's one thing visitors can expect, it's plenty of food!

The idea is to bring a little taste of Italy to Brighton, with producers and independent businesses offering specialities from different regions, including Sardinia, Puglia, Sicily, Calabria, Lazio and Campania.
Visitors will find Italian products that are not normally available in local supermarkets or high street shops, from regional delicacies and traditional treats to food and ingredients that can bring something different to the Christmas table.
And it's not just about buying. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste products, discover new flavours and take home.
