Water returning to affected Eastbourne customers after earlier outage
South East Water has confirmed water is returning to customers in Eastbourne who were affected by an outage earlier on Thursday (October 29).
The AquAlerter map showed Parry Close to be affected by a water interruption.
South East Water posted on their website at 1:13pm to apologise to customers who were experiencing ‘low water pressure or no water’.
The interruption was due to ‘unexpected emergency repairs’.

A spokesperson for South East Water said: “Water is returning to customers on Parry Close in Eastbourne.
“Our team was on site this afternoon and have successfully repaired a leaking hydrant in the area.
“We thank our customers for their patience and understanding whilst this work was completed.”
