East Sussex is one of 31 places across the country to receive funding to improve bus services.
The £41.4 million coming to East Sussex is from the government’s £1.2 billion bus transformation programme.
As a result, it is hoped just under two thirds of England’s population outside London will benefit from new investment to make buses more frequent, more reliable, easier to understand and use, cheaper, and greener.
