Getafe vs Brighton injury latest: Six out and one doubt for Fabian Hurzeler's men

Conference League: Getafe vs Brighton from the Estadio Coliseum - Thursday, 8pm

Fabian Hurzeler will continue to manage the energy levels of his squad ahead of their Conference League clash at Getafe.

The Seagulls are flying high in third place in the Premier League and are currently ninth in the Conference League - Europe's third tier competition.

Brighton do though have a number of their players in the treatment room with five expected to miss the clash in Madrid against a Getafe team who are 12th La Liga.

Brighton injuries: outs and doubts

Stefanos Tzimas - out: The Greek striker is set to train with the first team group this week. It's great progress after lengthy rehab from an ACL. Brighton will not rush and after the international break could be realistic.

Kaoru Mitoma - out: The Japan international continues his recovery from a hamstring injury. He is yet to feature this season and Hurzeler said after the international break is likely.

Zadok Yohanna - doubt: The £22m summer arrival is also making good progress as the winger builds up his fitness. Hurzeler confirmed last week that he is back training with the first team squad and has been pictured training this week.

Evan Ferguson - out: The Ireland international striker had ankle surgery last season and is yet to be seen this term. "we have to wait mor weeks" was Hurzeler's vague assessment last month.

Femi Azeez - out: The deadline day signing from Millwall is yet to feature for Brighton as he builds up his fitness after a "strain." This Thursday maybe too soon and after the international break could be more realistic.

Pascal Struijk - out: The £18m summer arrival from Leeds is still battling a thigh injury and Hurzeler confirmed the Getafe match will arriv too soon

Ferdi Kadioglu - out: The Turkey international injured his hip at Liverpool: "He trained yesterday," said Hurzeler to Sussex World after the City win. But he still felt it. I'm quite positive there's an option for Thursday [Getafe].” There isn’t though.
