9. Michał Karbownik
Michał Karbownik joined Greek champions Olympiacos on a season-long loan in August, with an option to buy. But Olympiacos will not activate the loan-to-buy clause as the defender has barely featured for the Greek giants. The Polish international has only played seven games in all competitions, due to injuries and a failure to make an impact. The 21-year-old was unceremoniously unregistered from Olympiacos' 23-man UEFA Europa League squad and is now playing with the club's B team. Photo: Louisa Gouliamaki/AFP via Getty Images

10. Jan Paul van Hecke
Jan Paul van Hecke moved to Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan in August and the defender has impressed at Ewood Park. The 21-year-old, who has so far made 25 league appearance and scored one for Rovers, has become ever-present since returning from a three-match suspension in November. The centre half has been part of a miserly Blackburn defence that has kept 11 clean sheets in their last 20 matches, of which van Hecke has played every minute, and was named the club's player of the month for February. He was named in the Netherlands under-21 squad for the first time for their 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland last month but withdrew due to injury. 11. Andi Zeqiri
Andi Zeqiri signed for German outfit FC Augsburg on loan for the 2021-22 campaign in August. The forward has netted twice in 17 Bundesliga games for the Fuggerstädter. The 22-year-old made his Switzerland debut in September, coming on as a sub in the 2-1 home friendly win against Greece. He has gone on to win seven caps and helped the Swiss qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Photo: Sebastian Widmann/Getty Images

12. Reda Khadra
Reda Khadra joined Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan in August. The 20-year-old has four goals in 27 Championship appearances for Rovers this season. He scored his first senior goal in November, firing home the equaliser in the 3-1 home win over Sheffield United. The winger was named in the Germany under-21 squad for the first time in March but withdrew due to injury. Photo: Alex Livesey/Getty Images
