Albion’s sixth-place finish in the Premier League means the club will compete in Europe for the first time in their 123-year history next term.
The Seagulls have begun to bolster their squad for the challenges of next season, which will see the Sussex side compete in four competitions and regularly play three games a week up until Christmas.
Joao Pedro has been signed from Watford for a club record fee of £30m, whilst Liverpool’s James Milner and Borussia Dortmund’s Mahmoud Dahoud are set to join on a free transfer.

As well as bolstering the squad with new additions, Brighton are also set to lose a number of key players. Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister look set for big money moves, whilst Joel Veltman is currently set to leave once his contract expires at the end of this month.
In total, Albion are currently set to lose nine players in the upcoming transfer window. Here is a look at all the potential outgoings from the club this summer.

5. Joel Veltman
The 31-year-old's contract is up at the end of June and there has been no announcement of a new deal, despite De Zerbi stating that he wanted to continue working with the Dutchmen. The defender is reportedly been in talks with Barcelona and Ajax, so could be tempted by a move away from the Amex Stadium. Photo: Mike Hewitt

6. Kacper Kozlowsk
The Polish international has impressed whilst on loan for Vitesse this season, but has seemed to suggest in interviews that he will also spend the next campaign plying his trade elsewhere. Whether he stays with the Eredivisie side is yet to be decided but talks are reportedly ongoing. Photo: Thomas Eisenhuth

7. Jan Paul van Hecke
The young defender inaugural season for the Albion has been strong one, including a number of impressive performances, the most memorable being his battle with Erling Haaland at the Amex. Brighton do have the option to extend Van Hecke's contract by one year, but without any announcement of this being done, the defender is set to leave at the end of June. Photo: Mike Hewitt

8. Kjell Scherpen
The Dutch goalkeeper has made just one appearance for Brighton since signing in July 2021, having spent this season with Kozłowski on loan at Vitesse. Albion still have Jason Steele and Robert Sanchez still at the club, so Scherpen is unlikely to get many chances next season and will look to continue his development with a loan move elsewhere.
