9. Tom Nichols 8
Easiest goal of his life to put the Reds back in front, heading in from on the goal-line. Dropped off well into pockets of space in front of defence. Quick interchanges were most he saw of the ball in first half. Couldn’t get head round Ferry’s cross that was just behind him minutes before scoring. Booked for colliding with Aguiar.

10. Kwesi Appiah 8
Headed home simply from 6 yards to make it 1-0. Was constant worry for left-back, movement dragged him everywhere. Used experienced to win fouls and relieve pressure. Massive part in second goal, flicked pass on his chest to Hutchinson led to his shot.

11. Ashley Nadesan 7
Should’ve scored the games opener. Latched onto Payne’s long pass, beat the defender but produced a tame left foot shot at the keeper. Frustrated with long pass up to him, chased well but left fruitless. Subbed.

12. Isaac Hutchinson 9
Finally got his rewards after weeks of frustration, scoring the killer third. Came on after 10 minutes for injured Powell. Really struggled to get into game but massive improvement in second half. Got involved in the battle and had crowd up when clashing with Williams who was left in a heap. His arrowed strike was put onto bar, which fell to Nichols for second.
