'Top' - Former Swansea and Torquay winger praised by Crawley Town head coach Colin Kazim-Richards

Crawley Town boss Colin Kazim-Richards has praised new signing Dylan Morgan after his first two appearances for the club.

The 23-year-old joined the Reds last week and made his debut as a second half substitute against Bristol Rovers. He then impressed on his first start in the 1-1 draw at Northampton on Tuesday (September 1).

Morgan joined Reds from Torquay United, having spent time at Plainmoor following his move from Yeovil Town. An impressive 2025/26 campaign, saw him net 13 times in 42 appearances on the wing and catch the eye of several teams up and down the country.

And Kazim-Richards is delighted with the way he has hit the ground running. “It's a credit to him himself in terms of his application and just being, ‘listen, I'm ready’.

“There are little tactical, little specifics we have to keep training and he has to pick up and that’s normal. But in terms of how he's gone, in terms of what he's got, his physicality, his quickness, his moving the ball, his crossing ability, his ability to beat players and finish the action is top.

“And also it's a credit to the team, the way the boys have incorporated him and just gelled with him.”

The midfielder began his career in the youth setups at Southampton and Forest Green Rovers before joining Swansea City, where he featured regularly at Under-23 level.

Morgan moved into senior football with Taunton Town ahead of the 2022/23 season, before joining Yeovil midway through the following campaign.

He was part of the Yeovil side that won the National League South title in 2023/24, helping the club secure promotion back to the National League.

Morgan remained with Yeovil the following season and also spent time on loan at Weston-super-Mare, scoring three goals in four appearances, before completing a permanent move to Torquay United.
