Following the need to postpone the annual August Bank Holiday Saturday date for the event, due to very high winds and wet weather over that weekend, the rescheduled Bottle Alley Art Market is now happening on Sunday September 20th, from 10am, and with the rescheduling a number of initial artists had to unfortunately pull out of taking part.

After a short second Open Call to fill the vacant spots the BAAM Team are now, finally, excited to announce all the participating artists for BAAM 2026. Featuring the usual eclectic mix of disciplines, styles, mediums and experience this year’s BAAM looks set to be as engaging and inspiring as ever, with 70 stalls confirmed.

SEE WORK BY ARTISTS OF ALL AGES and STAGES IN THEIR CAREER Highlights to look out for at BAAM 2026 include the youngest artist to apply yet, 9 year old Ruby Stewart-Belance will be selling A4/A3 prints of her ‘sarcastic animal drawings’ following in the footsteps of 12 year George Butler who introduced his graphic paintings inspired by Mr.Doodle to the BAAM audience last year to great success. Duncan Weston, who also works under the name Petro and is currently aged 53 and a half, began his career as a graffiti artist in the 80’s, It’s Duncan’s first BAAM and he will be having a studio sale in Bottle Alley, bringing ‘a celebration of past and present prints, originals and goodies at unheard of discounted prices just for the good people visiting BAAM!!’

GUEST ARTIST SELECTOR This year’s Guest Selector - Award winning visual artist, professor of Fine Art at Goldsmiths College and Autism advocate - Beccy Beasley, has selected artists she felt reflected her own interests. "It was a joy to be the guest selector for the 2026 BAAM and to see the diverse range of creative work being made. My own interests in world-building, image, object, ceramics, neurodiversity and disability perspectives are expressed across the selection. Many thanks to all who applied and made it an inspiring and energizing experience. We hope the range of artists selected will create a varied and fascinating promenade for visitors along Bottle Alley this summer, with curious intersections and unexpected connections between them to be discovered along the way."
