This November, Worthing restaurant BAUJ - recently recognised by the Michelin Guide - is inviting diners to celebrate India’s brightest festival, Diwali, for the first time with a special three-course menu inspired the flavours of Rajasthan. Available from 2nd November to 15th November, the £48-per-person menu brings a celebratory taste of India to the Sussex coast.

Marking one of the most important festivals in the Hindu calendar, Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and is traditionally celebrated with family gatherings, festivities and feasting. At BAUJI, Executive Chef Dayashankar Sharma’s limited-edition menu combines the warmth of Indian home cooking with a refined, contemporary approach.
The three-course feast begins with a choice of starters, including Himalayan Pink Salt Salmon Tikka and a Chicken Tandoori Tango Bowl, followed by mains such as slow-cooked Sindhi Lamb Sai Bhaji and Chargha Chicken. Dishes are accompanied by sides of Dhaba Dal, Aloo Pyaaz, Cranberry Pulao Rice and Naan, before finishing on a sweet note with Mango Rasmalai with Fresh Fruits.
Whether marking Diwali with family and friends or simply discovering the flavours of regional Indian cooking, join BAUJI for a celebratory feast this November.
