CHIDDINGLY PARISH BONFIRE SOCIETY
We're urgently in need of a second band for our Bonfire Night on 21 November 2026
HORAM VILLAGE HALL AND RECREATION GROUND
The hall looked great on Friday when we hosted BBC Radio 4 Any Questions? Theatre style, we were at full capacity at 180 seats, all sold out. Thank you to everyone who came along and welcomed the panel. It was a great experience which we would like to repeat in the future.
HORAM REMEMBRANCE ROAD CLOSURE
The roads from Horam car park to Christ Church will be closed while the parade takes place and Horebeech Lane will be closed while the start of the service takes place on Sunday 8th November.
FATHER CHRISTMAS AT THE GUN

Little ones can step into the festive spirit with a visit to Santa’s grotto, where they can meet Father Christmas, hand over their handwritten Christmas wish list, and enjoy a little festive magic. Each child’s £14.99 ticket includes a visit to Santa’s Grotto, a small gift from Father Christmas and a chocolate treat. While waiting for their turn, little ones can also enjoy a festive glitter tattoo. It’s the perfect opportunity to capture those special Christmas moments and create magical memories with the family. Child tickets are £14.99 and include the Father Christmas experience, a small gift and a chocolate treat. We can’t wait to welcome you for a little Christmas magic at The Gun.
CHRISTMAS HOUSE = HORAM
With just one more month to go until the first night switch-on (1/12/2026 @ 4pm on Little London Road Horam) we've been hard at it throughout October, adding a few more bits every day, getting ready for it (it's gonna be bigger than ever). Now looking forward to seeing everyone again this year enjoying it all. As always, we will be raising money for the Alzheimer's Society charity, hoping to beat last year's absolutely amazing total of £2,350.00 - thanks again for all the support. Rita and Ray Wicker
