Jim Bennett, Fiona Dunn, Martin Playford, Karen Wainwright and Jordan Bridges all completed the challenge, each driven by personal connections to Sage House and the support it has provided to their loved ones throughout their dementia journeys.

Among the runners, Jim Bennett made a particularly meaningful journey, travelling from the United States to take part in the marathon. Jim ran to raise awareness of the charity that continues to support his father, also Jim, who is living with dementia. His participation highlights the far-reaching impact of Sage House’s work, extending well beyond the local community.
