St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Chichester, receives Highly Commended honour at the Chichester and District Business Awards 2026

St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Chichester, announced today that it received Highly Commended in the Charity of the Year category at The Chichester & District Business Awards 2026.

Held at the Minerva Theatre in Chichester on 2 November, the awards recognise a cross-section of organisations and the vital role they play in the economic success of the region.

The evening brought together guests from across the local business community to celebrate excellence across 11 award categories.

St Wilfrid's Hospice, an independent charity, provides expert palliative and end-of-life care free of charge to people across the local area. The Hospice was shortlisted in the Charity of the Year category alongside five other charities from across the region.

Christine Gillott, Philanthropy Manager at St Wilfrid's Hospice, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded Highly Commended at this year's awards.
