Tenant satisfaction rises across Crawley Homes’ services

Tenants are reporting higher levels of satisfaction with Crawley Homes’ services, with improvements recorded across all key areas of the annual Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey.
The latest results show that 76.8 per cent of tenants are satisfied with the overall service provided by Crawley Homes, an increase from 72.8 per cent last year. Satisfaction with the repairs service also rose significantly, from 76.3 per cent to 81.3 per cent.
Particularly strong improvements were seen in repairs, with satisfaction with the time taken to complete repairs increasing from 75.4 per cent to 84.1 per cent, while satisfaction that homes are well maintained rose from 71.4 per cent to 76.1 per cent. The council also completed 92.8 per cent of non-emergency repairs within target timescales during the year.
The results show that the council is performing well compared with other social housing providers, ranking in or above the top 25 per cent for a number of measures.
Councillor Ian Irvine, Cabinet member for Housing at Crawley Borough Council, said: “These results show that tenants are seeing real improvements in the services provided by Crawley Homes.
“It is particularly encouraging to see significant increases in satisfaction with repairs and maintenance, areas that matter enormously to our tenants. These results reflect the hard work of our housing teams and contractors, who are committed to providing good quality homes and responsive services.
“While we are pleased by the improvements, we know there is still more to do. We remain focused on improving communication even further, strengthening our services and ensuring we continue to listen to and act on tenant feedback.”
Tenant Satisfaction Measures are set by the Regulator of Social Housing and are designed to help tenants understand how well their landlord is performing. The measures combine feedback from tenant surveys with management information covering areas such as repairs, complaints, building safety and neighbourhood management.
